What makes D-League Unique?
At A4H we believe in improving individual skill development and application as well as basketball IQ amoung young athletes. At our league we equip athletes with skills to play all positions and play smart. Learning these skills early allows athletes to be more effective as they grow and further develop their skills (regardless of height, speed, or athlete ability). Each week we include 30 minute - 1 hour individual skill development sessions.
Our YOF Development league takes this a step further by incorporating in class sessions and guest speakers that focus on mentorship, leadership and how to be a successful student-athlete on and off the court.
Who are the Coaches?
All coaches complete an extensive A4H Basketball coach training program which includes enrollment in the National Coaching Certification Program Level 1 (NCCP) (many coaches have level 3 certifications). All coaches have CPR/First Aid and have completed criminal reference checks.
Where is the location?
Programs take place at St. Roch Secondary School.
