Position: Sports Coach
This job occurs on Monday-Friday (8:30am-4:00pm), March 13th- 17th in Brampton, On and Mississauga, On
Job Requirements:

Working towards a Secondary School Diploma/College Diploma or University Degree

Previous experience working with children (3-5 years of age) is an asset

Previous experience coaching and/or teaching sports an asset

Employment offer is conditional upon receipt of a Criminal Record Search - Vulnerable Sector Screening
Job Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the director, the successful candidate is responsible to plan and implement a comprehensive, inclusive physical literacy program that meets the needs of all participants.

To ensure supervision of participants at all times and provide a safe and enjoyable experience by adhering to all safety and emergency procedures.

To provide quality customer service to participants, volunteers and parents

To conduct safety checks of program equipment and facilities daily. Reporting anything that may impact the quality and safe delivery of the program in a timely manner.

Work both independently and in a team environment to complete assigned tasks

To perform other related duties as assigned

Proven track record of working with people and the ability to build relationships

You are positive, enthusiastic and have an endless supply of energy.

Strengths include attention to detail, highly organized planning, problem solving and decision-making.

Customer service oriented and able to work independently.

Interested in meeting new people and speaking confidently in a small group setting.

Reliable, punctual, hard work and motivated self-starter

Experience working with youth in a teaching environment in a sport.

Knowledge and interest of sports (basektball, football, soccer, etc)
Hourly Rate: $15.00 - $22.00 based on experience
