Jr. NBA Program
Jr. NBA is a 8-week basketball development program for children aged 4 - 7 years in Brampton, ON. This is an introductory program that is designed to develop fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and a love for the game of basketball. The program will provide an inclusive, fun and safe learning environment with modified games. The curriculum is developed along the guidelines of Sport Canada’s Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) Model.
The Jr. NBA has developed a new, turnkey instructional curriculum designed to better the youth basketball experience for players, parents, and coaches.
The curriculum features four levels – Rookie, Starter, All-Star, and MVP – that provide proper instruction to youth players at every level of skill development.
Focusing on physical literacy and the fundamental skills, Jr. NBA acts as the entry point to Canada Basketball’s Athlete Development Pathway.
